Customer Service: Help / FAQ
How much do tickets cost?
U.S. & Canadian Ticket Prices
Ticket prices for events at Canadian venues are listed in Canadian Dollars. Tickets prices for events at U.S. venues are listed in U.S. dollars. Currency conversions, if necessary, are handled by the credit card company.
- Face value of a ticket
The face value of a ticket is the base price of the ticket that is determined by the artist, artist management, promoter and venue. For House of Blues Concerts venues, a Facility Fee is typically included in the face value of the ticket. House of Blues strives to keep its ticket prices as reasonable as possible for the fans.
- Service charge
A Service Charge is added for each ticket purchased. This charge covers many of the costs associated with ticketing, from materials such as computer equipment, printers and paper stock to service costs such as credit card processing fees and expanded box office staffing. For House of Blues Club venues, the Service Charge also includes a Facility Fee. Service charges vary by venue, event, ticket tier and purchase channel. Exact costs are typically the result of negotiations with venues, promoters, and artist management.
- Taxes
Applicable state and local taxes are included in the face value of a ticket.
